New York (eTruePolitics) – A good prank is forever.

Vile Press, an imprint of Breitbart Media, had the White House East Room booked for a gala publishing party celebrating the publication of House Speaker Paul Ryan’s latest book, ‘Profiles in Courage.’  The room was filled with Republican luminaries covered in the book, including beleaguered politicians Mike Pence, Sean Spicer and Reince Priebus, mega-rich zealots Peter Thiel and Sheldon Adelson, media figures Hugh Hewitt and Jeffrey Lord, and businessmen including Uber’s Travis Kalanick, Home Depot’s Bernard Marcus and Under Armour’s Kevin Plank.

Problem: The book jacket on the 100 signed copies of ‘Profiles in Courage’ read “Profiles in Cowardice: Decisive Moments in the Lives of Cowardly Americans.”  Paul Ryan had been brilliantly pranked.

Shortly after the prank was discovered, a sobbing Ryan was ushered away, and the gala party was gala no more.

ArtAct, a group of activists who have previously tormented Donald Trump (with a prank ‘Treason Tower’ sign) took credit for switching the book covers.

“We didn’t know Paul Ryan had tear ducts,” said an ArtAct member. “Good for him!”
