Bentonville, AR (eTruePolitics) – In the spirit of the 2019 holidays, Walmart is temporarily changing its name, logo and mission statement for the season.

“Our new holiday rebranding not only represents the corporate spirit of Walmart but perfectly reflects the ideals of the entire Walton family,” said Walmart CEO Doug McMillon in explaining the company’s reasoning behind the change.

“Some people call the fictional Ebenezer Scrooge ‘miserly’ or even ‘cold-hearted’ but we see him as a uniquely beloved American character,” McMillon added.

Walmart is currently under fire after it was revealed the retail giant offered employees who work holidays a 10 percent in-store discount instead of overtime pay. The Walton family collectively makes more money in a minute than Walmart employees make in a year.

“The Waltons represent everything that is wrong with this country in one despicable family,” said a Walmart employee with requested anonymity because he feared for his life.

“Hey, what about us?” said an agitated Donald Trump, Jr. who in a interview with eTruePolitics defended his family’s bad name, calling the Walmart employee a traitor whose phone number, street address and photo should be prominently displayed in post offices across  the United States.

“We’ll find him,”  said Trump, Jr.
