Washington (eTruePolitics) – After special counsel Robert Mueller today called for Paul Manafort to be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison, the beleaguered former Trump campaign chairman’s fledgling acting career in low-budget horror movies is likely to be derailed, according to sources close to the family.
“If I’m in the can, I can’t earn a living,” a glum Manafort reportedly told an unmoved Mueller.
“Bob doesn’t enjoy horror movies,” said a Mueller spokesperson in a rare public statement.
The financially strapped Manafort has a supporting role in the yet-to-be-released Steve Bannon-produced The Godawfulfather franchise.
Bannon seemed resigned at the prospect of losing a key cast member as production is set to begin on Godawfulfather II: The Unraveling.
“What am I gonna do, sue the poor bastard?” said Bannon. “Trust me, he’s a shitty actor. And a jerk. Really, he’s less likable than Roger Stone. ”
