Nuuk, Greenland (eTruePolitics) – In a vote that surprised no one, Greenland awarded Donald Trump with its 2019 Dumbbell Prize in Idiocy. Created and funded by Jørgen Dumbbell a respected writer/politician who endured years of mockery for his surname, the Dumbbell Prize, along with Sweden’s Nobel, was founded in 1901 to make fun of world leaders who act, well, dumb.
“We add categories when certain social climates lend themselves to extremes of stupidity,”explained Jørgen Dumbbell IV, the founder’s great-great-grandson. “Take 2019. It was a no-brainer; Trump’s idiocy has been exposed for the entire world to see. Bingo, the Dumbbell Prize in Idiocy was born.
“Greenland has kind of been the butt of jokes for years, and we enjoy giving it back occasionally. So, of course, we gave the award to Mr. Trump, who actually thanked me when I called.
“Then I got a phone call from a Mr. Rudy Giuliani. I think he was upset he didn’t get the award.”
