Washington (eTruePolitics) – “This is a perfect fit. I’ve always been a clown,” grinned Noem in making the surprise announcement that she was leaving DHS after just 90 days on the job to join Ringling.
“When Ringling made me a lucrative offer I couldn’t pass up the chance to make some real bucks.” The DHS secretary’s salary is $22.09 an hour. Ringling, according to the Associated Press, offered Noem a flat $28.00 an hour, raising questions about Noem’s financial acumen.
“She’s a natural,” said Kenneth Feld, CEO of Feld Entertainment that runs Ringling. “We literally didn’t have to teach her anything. Personally, I’ve never seen a better prat fall.”
It was unclear when Noem would begin her new job. “I’ve got a costume all picked out,” said Noem who insisted she would always keep an eye out for “human scum” attending the Ringling performances.
“If you don’t laugh at me, you’re going to Guantanamo,” promised Noem.
