TRUMP ORDERS ‘PRESIDENT’ STEPHEN K. BANNON PORTRAIT MOVED TO WHITE HOUSE BASEMENT
Washington, D.C. (eTruePolitics) – At the request of Republican mega-funder Robert Mercer, current president Donald Trump today ordered a light-hearted portrait depicting Steve Bannon as the 46th president of the United States moved to the White House sub-basement. The massive portrait, a gift from activist/philanthropist Mercer, is a staggering 10 by 6 feet, and originally included the former Trump adviser holding an M16 rifle.
“We were planning to move the painting to the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian,” said Mercer’s daughter Rebekah, “but it doesn’t matter anymore,” a smiling Mercer added.
The Mercer family has withdrawn all funding and support for Bannon following his explosive comments about Trump and Trump’s family in Michael Wolff’s best-selling “Fire and Fury.” Shortly after the Mercer pullout, Bannon was fired by Breitbart News Network.
“Steve’s in permanent storage, where he belongs,” Mercer said.
