Could “Where’s Rudy?” Book Deal Profit Trump?
New York (eTruePolitics) – “Where’s Rudy?” That’s what Donald Trump was asking top aides in a White House meeting in early February. Unfortunately, Rudy Giuliani was directly in front of the current president. And was not recognized by the president for several uncomfortable minutes.
Today, hoping to capitalize on the embarrassing incident, the Trump Organization announced a six-figure deal with Breitbart Media’s Vile Press to publish “Where’s Rudy?”
“It’s a game and a book!” said Mr. Trump in a quickly deleted tweet that essentially scooped his own family business. “I wrote it BY MYSELF and it’s GOING TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY.”
Hours later, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer issued a “clarifying” statement saying that the president had “absolutely no plans” to share in royalties from the lucrative deal. Spicer said Mr. Trump had no idea how his name ended up on the book’s cover, and the president “very strongly” denied writing the book, or tweeting about any book ever.
