Washington (eTruePolitics) – U.S. national security advisor H.R. McMaster will resign his post “sometime this week” eTruePolitics has learned. The active three-star general’s departure will not be a quiet one as a revised edition of his 1997 best selling “Dereliction of Duty,” set to be published this weekend, may push Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury” from its perch as the country’s no. 1 bestseller.
“I made a huge mistake,” McMaster writes in the book’s explosive first chapter, I Lost All My Integrity. “Donald Trump has wrecked my life.”
The book is reportedly causing shock in the White House, according to West Wing staffers.
“The president was very angry, even for him,” said a source who requested anonymity because he feared for his life. The observer said that for the second time in as many days, the current president threw himself on the floor and chewed on a (Persian) rug.
“We call him ‘karpetmunchen’,” said the source. “But it’s sort of not funny when you see it.”
“I hate him a lot,” McMaster said about Trump in a brief interview near the Oval Office.
“Me too,” added current Trump chief of staff John F. Kelly.
