MUELLER UNCOVERS RUSSIAN-INFLUENCED DESIGN FOR NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY SYMBOL ON JEFF SESSIONS’ MOBILE PHONE
Washington, D.C. (eTruePolitics) – Da. Da. D’oh. Last week while interviewing attorney general Jeff Sessions, investigators for Special Counsel Robert Mueller discovered illustrations of a Russian-influenced redesign of the Republican Party’s official symbol on his mobile phone, according to sources close to the investigation who have seen the images.
After the revelation, Mueller moved to seize Sessions’ passport, citing the diminutive law enforcement officer as a “flight risk.”
Combined with recent revelations that Sessions, essentially the nation’s top cop, has been secretly enrolled in intensive weekend Russian language courses at the Russian embassy in Washington, the previously secret new logo is a striking visual clue to the depth of Russian influence in the affairs of the United States’ second largest political party.
“Nyetski,” said a spokesman for Sessions when asked if the former Trump campaign surrogate had any involvement with the new Republican Party symbol design.
