TRUMP PULLS JAMES COMEY’S NOMINATION FOR 2017 REPUBLICAN MAN OF THE YEAR
Washington (eTruePolitics) – Minutes after firing James Comey following burgeoning criticism of his FBI stewardship and basic honesty, current president Donald Trump announced he had pulled the former FBI Director’s nomination as “2017 Republican Man of the Year,” according to sources close to the administration.
The shocking turn came only 24 hours after White House press secretary Sean Spicer lavishly praised Comey while trumpeting his ‘Man of the Year’ nomination.
“Jimmy did more to elect Donald Trump than anyone in the nation,” Spicer said, “and so the President really, really thinks he deserves this award.
“Depending on how things work out, Jim could be in line for many other great awards and prizes,” Spicer added.
“The President thinks Jim Comey is a closet Commie,” said Spicer today.
